David Kyl-Brown is a Los Angeles/Orange County based actor, writer, and Aikido black belt martial arts instructor. A maverick at heart, David is also the creator of the unique and eclectic martial arts/motivational program, A Hard Day’s Fight. David teaches his program personally, one-on-one, and to small groups. Classes can be held anywhere a client wishes.

At the core of AHDF lies Aikido; a Japanese martial art involving throws and joint locks derived from Jujitsu, and other techniques derived from Kenjutsu. Aikido focuses on using an opponent’s own energy to gain control of them, or to throw them away from you. It is not a static art, but places great emphasis on motion and the dynamics of movement.

To this foundation, David added his own ideas, drills, and techniques (including  boxing) to create a truly unique and eclectic program. David’s approach has always been, “reality based”; to make it work, for real.

A Hard Day’s Fight is an accelerated program designed for men, women and children, of all ages, and tailored to each individual client. No matter what shape you’re in; you can start. You’ll quickly develop the ability to defend yourself, and your loved ones; but more importantly, you’ll develop an awesome, synergistic strength of body, mind, and spirit, that will follow you everywhere you go. David is also a gifted motivational speaker. Whatever your dreams/goals are... prepare to be inspired.
